Audiovisual interlude

For your viewing/reading/listening pleasure...
...or not, as the case may be... lots of empty sites in this vid.

TVNZ7's Media7 programme was shot on location in Chch recently... click here to view. It includes a look at the CEISMIC project, being led/compiled by UC.

Some other CEISMIC linkys:
Video and audio from the inaugural UC earthquake forum - the CEISMIC project is the last on the page

You can share your stories of the quake, or read other people's accounts, on the Quake Stories site.

CEISMIC on CTV, via the UC College of Arts Digital Humanities blog

I'll be working on one of the CEISMIC projects - the Quake Box - over the summer "holidays", in Cashel Mall, part of which reopened recently... here's a little timelapse of the lead-up to the big day.

And another vid to close... this is not a project that I've had personal involvement with (apart from living through the subject matter!) but I do know people on the crew and some who appear in the film. When A City Falls opens in NZ cinemas this month but, like many, I'm not sure if I'm ready to watch it. The trailer is harrowing enough.
